For this design-bid type project, the good news was that Freeman & Associates provided the lowest responsible bid. The bad news was that the bid was over the church's budget. With a "don't give up" attitude, Freeman stepped up to assist with the appropriate "value engineering" to enable Morningside Church to move forward with the much needed new sanctuary. Within a short time, Freeman recommended cost saving measures that would not adversely affect the integrity of the project. The beautiful Morningside sanctuary was completed on time and within budget, a great example of value engineering and the team approach.
